We're Looking for Volunteers

Bowker wants to help YOU get the most out of your Bowker product subscriptions. To keep you informed of product enhancements and features, we have created the Bowker Bulletin. To provide product information and extra support, we have created BowkerSupport.com. To share in your love of books, we created free Bowker artwork for your library. To better understand your needs, we have sponsored numerous customer surveys.

But that is NOT enough ...

Not only do we want to hear from you at marketing@bowker.com anytime you have a thought or suggestion about how to improve Bowker products, but we also want to reach out, extend our hand, and help you increase the usage of your booksinprint.com™, globalbooksinprint.com®, and ulrichsweb.com™ subscription.

We are looking for 10 volunteers in the United States who are currently "unlimited usage" customers of any of our web products. An "unlimited usage" customer has the ability to allow patrons to use the products at library terminals, or through the library’s website from their home computers. With these 10 volunteers, we hope to be able to help you promote your subscriptions to your community and to your patrons through better website placement, local newspaper coverage, and if necessary, refresher training courses on all the benefits and uses of our products. Additionally, for booksinprint.com customers, we will also help you set up Bowker’s brand new patron resource, patronboksinprint.com. Volunteers will be treated to a one-on-one hand holding approach, and will be rewarded with a complimentary copy of Bowker’s newest reference book, Bowker’s Guide to Characters in Fiction™.
