The “after” record builds on the base bibliographic information and adds in new fields such as Country of Publication, Market, EAN, Edition, Language, Various Subjects, Dewey Decimal # and Physical Dimensions. The after record also adds in value-added content such as Bestseller Information, Awards, Media Mentions and the all-important Title Reviews. Now all market records share the rich value-added data from the Global Books In Print® database.

| Additional Functionality |
With the expansion of GBIP we have added some new content and functionality to fully utilize the breadth and depth of the database.
1. Ability to limit results in Advanced Search by Language and Country of Publication of item. Country of Publication is defined as the country of the publisher of the item.
2. Changing Market limiter from checkboxes to dropdown box in both Quick and Advanced Search to account for the addition of 37 new markets to GBIP.
3. Cross Market Subject Searching – whether searching for Bowker, BISAC or BIC – searching by subject will return ALL market records that match.
